Frequently asked questions
What almost everyone asks before getting started.
If your question is not here, schedule a Strategic Assessment.
Can I start if I don't have a language exam yet?
Yes. In fact, part of the Strategic Assessment defines which exam you need (OET, IELTS, CELBAN, TEF, CELPIP, TCF) based on your profession and target province. Our Academy prepares you for the right exam.
What if I don't know yet which province suits me?
That is exactly why Phase 1 of the program exists. We analyze your profile against the real requirements and opportunities of each province, and choose the most viable one for your profession.
Can I move forward if I'm outside Canada?
Yes. Most of our clients start outside Canada. The path is designed to advance as many steps as possible from your country before landing.
Can I immigrate with my family from the start?
Yes. We design integrated family immigration plans — every decision considers your partner and children from Phase 1, not as an add-on at the end.
Is the Strategic Assessment credited if I hire you afterward?
Yes. If you decide to move forward with Health North™ after the assessment, its cost is credited toward the full program. Although an assessment does not guarantee eligibility or approval, it helps avoid decisions based on incomplete information or paths that do not fit your profile.
Do you work with people who are still studying?
Yes. The time to start building your profile is not when you finish your degree — it's now. Language, eligibility and provincial strategy can be prepared in advance.
Does my profession follow a direct path or require extensive credential recognition?
It depends. A general practitioner, a specialist and a nurse do not follow the same path. Phase 1 gives you that clear diagnosis.
Is Health North™ for all healthcare professions?
The program is designed for regulated healthcare professions: physicians, nurses, dentists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, dietitians, psychologists, radiology technologists and other clinical professions. The Strategic Assessment confirms whether your profession applies.
Can I join the program at any stage of the process?
Yes. Some clients arrive before starting any process. Others arrive with a partially advanced process that needs realignment. The Phase 1 diagnosis determines exactly where you stand.
Does the program guarantee that I will practice in Canada?
No. Admission to a regulatory body, obtaining a license, a job offer, an immigration invitation or the approval of an application depend on third parties and cannot be guaranteed. Health North™ offers a structured methodology to coordinate the various stages of your process.
How long does it take to complete the 4 phases?
It depends on the profile. Language, specialty, province, family situation and current stage are variables that completely change the timelines. In the assessment we give you an honest estimate based on your real profile.
Is your question not here?
A 60-minute Strategic Assessment answers what no article can: whether your specific profile has a clear path to Canada.
